A lot of reviews are written with solely one goal in mind:
To sell that freakin’ product!
Well, this is not one of them.

My Honest Shayin Treadmill Review
Every home gym should include a treadmill.
But as the cost of a quality running machine usually take a substantial chunk of dollars from your wallet, finding a model you will be satisfied with is essential.
I have previously looked at the best treadmills for home use and listed my four favorites. Shayin's treadmills did not get to be part of my best list, and by reading this review, you will understand why…
The treadmill from Shayin is placed within the segment of affordable exercise equipment.
Other affordable treadmills worth looking at are:
But just because they are affordably priced, do not mean they are crap.
Or does it?
First, for the likes of the treadmills from Shayin, it seems to be some kind of correlation.
I have not personally tried the machine, but I have read every single product review available throughout the internet to get the feel of all its weaknesses and pros.
Okay, let’s start with a look at the pros:
The Pros
Due to its small size, the machine from Shayin is perfect for small spaces. In addition to the small footprint, the treadmill is foldable as well.
Are you finished working out?
Fold the treadmill and hide it away in a dark corner. When you are ready for your next run, the equipment folds back and is prepared to use in no time!
Easy-peasy!
If you want more resistance than increased speed, Shayin has also thrown in a 0-15 degree incline to give your workout that extra challenge.
Running at 9.2 mph upwards a 15-degree slope should have your heart beating!
“When running hills on a treadmill, you get all the strength and endurance-building benefits of uphill training without the downhills, which are a lot harder on your body.”

But wait:
While running, you can rest your eyes at the easy-to-read LCD console and listen to your favorite Spotify tune through the built-in speakers.
Sounds nice or what?
- ★Fold up running machine, built in MP3 connectivity...
- ★LCD display treadmills, easy to read multi-display...
- ★Folding electric treadmill, safety key connect you...
Well, hold on.
There are some catches.
While the Shayin treadmill is an excellent fit for small people with limited space, it is surely NOT the perfect fit for all.
Let’s look at the lesser cool stuff:
The Cons
Sadly, not all is just red as roses.
According to a lot of users, while the equipment is easy to put together, the overall quality feel is quite poor. It weighs a lot, the tread belt is narrow, and the motor is not the best.
Some users even complained the treadmill was way too small for them to use, and suggested it was engineered to fit an eight-year-old kid!
Ouch!
In other words, if you are a mid-sized man and upwards like me – look elsewhere. This treadmill is NOT for you!
So, what should you get then?
If I were to buy a treadmill within this price segment, I would personally choose the Goplus 2 in 1 Folding Treadmill .

Final Words: Should You Buy a Shayin Treadmill or Not?
To conclude, the Shayin treadmill is a decent product. Some people love it, while others regret buying it.
But I suppose that is pretty normal for most products, right?
The complaints are mostly aimed towards the narrow and small tread belt, making it impossible for mid-sized people to run normally.
Due to this, I would never recommend this product to other people than the small-sized people out there. I would rather look at the Weslo Cadence G 5.9 Treadmill, backed by nearly 4000 reviews loaded with positive feedback.
